I'm not certain where to begin for this is a most intricate hat.

The material is a faux-crocodile in crisp white covering a hand-shaped buckram base. It wraps around to a grommeted, corset-like back that reveals ivory brocade.

A vintage monocle hangs on a chain and swings around the hat. It can be unclasped to be taken down easily to use to spy one's love notes on the wedding day.
