As a tomboy myself, I loathed climbing into proper skirts and blouses. Today my wrenches won’t fit in a reticule and comfort is my first law of fashion. These handsome capris are just the ticket. The wide waistband won’t pinch you when you climb, and there’s just bit of stretch in the subtle brown stripe. Cute enough for back-to-school, but practical enough to survive the playground.     Bought these for my 11 y/o as she was attending a convention with her Dad and called stating "Mom, I would love to be a "steampunk" for Halloween"! She found the accessories she needed at the convention and I stumbled upon this fantastic site and these WONDERFUL capris! I chatted with a lovely gal on the phone and while we both measured pants, we discussed the size I should order! Well, the pants (and the sleeveless overcoat I also ordered) arrived ahead of schedule and both are better than we could have imagined. These capris are made of a great sturdy fabric and will be great for school and as the beloved Halloween costume! Thank you Clockwork Couture!!
