Our bookkeeper, Nora Lendersby, spends long hours calculating her balance sheet. She prefers simplicity in her clothing, and has a known weakness for pinstripes. (They remind her of perfectly ordered ledgers.) This tailored overbust corset is a favorite of hers. Faux pocket flaps and a notched top edging highlight its simple design, complete with front zipper and back laces (to guarantee a snug fit). Made of sturdy fabric with lightweight boning, it looks splendid over a crisp white shirt. And the numbers? They speak for themselves.


80% polyester, 10% Spandex, 10% cotton
