    I tend to avoid oils as they usually smell of hippies or candy, but that's not the case with Earth. I received a sample and plan to order it with my next clothing purchase. It starts out sharply spicy and fades to soft sandalwood, which I find pleasing. I didn't find the patchouli noticeable. It lasted all day on me. This would also be a good choice for a gentleman's fragrance.
