I ordered the black boots. I normally wear an 8 and a half, but I ordered a 9 since half-sizes weren’t available. The toe is pointed, so they make my feet look larger, but overall they are very comfy. I don’t normally wear heels. These are a perfect size: low yet stylish. I’ve gotten many compliments on the boots. They work great with pants, skirts, and costumes.
I have only had these boots for a day, but I wore them as soon as they arrived at my house. They are very comfy considering I've barely worn them and only get better the longer you have them on. The black soles do scuff the white very easily would be my only complaint, but that is easy enough to clean. The shoes were so squished in the box they came in that the liner in front of the laces doesn't want to stay in place but hopefully that will change with wear. Overall, they are great and well worth the money!! I look forward to buying more shoes.
I waited a couple months after receiving these to review, just to see how they'd hold up; I could not be happier. I wear them almost every day walking to work, and they are unbelievably comfortable. The vegan leather looks just like the real thing, especially after a few weeks of wear. They do have a few scuffs, but I like my clothes to show a bit of wear, so it doesn't bother me; you might just want to keep it in mind of you like your shoes pristine. There was a bit of a mix up with shipping, but the representative I spoke to was very helpful, and even refunded me for one of my purchases.
I ordered a pair of these boots in brown. The shape is good, the fit is true, they seem like well made boots. But the texture/color is... not great. I have other boots from Clockwork Couture, specifically the Equestrian boots, and the Classic Victorian boots, and both (especially the Equestrian boots) have a great fake leather look. These boots look more like a matte brown vinyl. As no one in the three other reviews (2 for black and 1 for white) has this complaint, I think it's probably just the brown ones that look like this.
I bought these in white and I love them. I was worried they would be too small for my shapely calves but they have ample room. The heel is high enough to be sexy but low enough to be comfortable. They fit true-to-size as well. I love love love them. If I can dig a few pounds out of the captain's seat cushions I'll order two more pairs in additional colorways so I will have a pair to wear with everything!
I got these boots a while back, and I must say they are wonderful quality. They look fantastic, and seem pretty sturdy. The only problem I encountered is that I have rather skinny legs, making the leg of the boot not fit me quite right. They kind of bop around my calves loosely. However, this isn't the first pair of boots that have given me this problem, so I guess this is just a heads up to my scrawny sisters.
I bought these boots from CC about a year ago, a little longer. Since then the shoppe has acquired many, many more fabulous styles that I cannot wait to buy, but nothing will ever replace these wonderful boots in my heart! They looked fantastic and elegant in black, with the right amount of heel for extended wearing and comfortable walking, and they're durable enough to work hard in the engine room and then dance the night away above deck! CC customer service was excellent, and the box came packed with all kinds of additional goodies. Plus the price is definitely right! Thank you!
