    The medal and ribbon are every bit as lovely as they are in the picture. The trouble begins where the picture cuts off. I had assumed there would be an appropriate fastening at the top, however what is actually just out of the photo is the unfinished cut off of the ribbon ends held together by a big safety pin. I had to do quite a bit of stitching to make it neat and attach a semi-suitable brooch pin. Having this in the medal/brooch category implies a certain kind of proper attachment included, and not an oversized safety pin. If I had known, I wouldn't have considered it worth the price. This does not meet the high quality standards I've come to associate with this website, and honestly I'm dissapointed.
