Steam fittings must be precise. Too loose and you lose pressure. Garments should be the same. Too tight and I can’t wield a wrench properly, too loose and I look like a Hurdy-Gurdy man’s monkey. These poplin pants sit neatly on my hips with adjustable buttons and tidy front pleats. A hidden side zipper makes them easy to get into, but beneath the full legs faux striped bloomer bottoms add charm without weighing me down. Precisely what I need.

How do they fit shorter girls?
Have any shorter girls bought these? I would love to know how they look on, and whether they are easy to alter in length if necessary.

The quality of work on the bloomers is top-notch. I wish I had the patience for the simple detail work on them! I rec'd them just in time for the Sac Steam ball and now I have a myriad of options for my two days of costume.

I absolutely love these, but there's absolutely no way I could ever fit in them. I run a size eleven to size fifteen, so an extra-large would be about right, I suppose. When might you get larger sizes, if ever?
I ordered the large brown
I ordered the large brown pantaloons and though i could just barely squeeze them over my hips (i'm a size 11 and i measured myself to the listings on the pants, so it may run small), they were so tight there was no way I was wearing them in public. I was going to send them back, but a friend easily sewed an elongated triangle of brown cloth to each side at the hips after cutting the seams and they fit perfectly now and even look cooler. :)
Black to Brown Sizing
I love these pants so I ordered myself a second pair in the brown. I ordered a medium as I had ordered in black, but in the brown the medium totally didn't fit me. The brown medium are really quite small from my experience. I have given that brown pair to a teeny friend of mine and they fit her perfectly. Now I just want to know if I should order a large in brown for myself or if I just had an oddball pair?
shoe recommendation?
I just got this in the mail and absolutely love it. But now I've got a new problem...what kind of shoe works with this?
Boots Look Great.
Boots look very nice with this, especially if they're mid-calf and with a pointed toe. (The toe makes the leg look much longer, and with the cut of the pants, your legs will look miles long!) I haven't tried out anything else with these.

If only these came in larger sizes! They are perfect!

I am in love with these pantaloons. Will these ever be available in larger sizes? You have a lot of girls with curves that want to dress super cute as well. Even adding size XL will let a lot more people enjoy this item.

I bought these in a medium and they were a bit big, so I had to return them for a small. (I'm approximately a size five, depending on how the clothes in question are cut. These run just a tad generously.) I recieved my small and they fit PERFECTLY. The top hugs your waist ever-so gently, and the legs of the pants swoop out in a very flattering way. They look especially nice with a fitted top.
With Noire Victorian Walking Boots, an underbust, vest, or any corset, a ruffled blouse, and a curly, slightly tousled Victorian up-do, one may look daringly deconstructed.

Would you be able to produce these pants in larger sizes like 2X? I've been looking for the perfect pair of pants for my steampunk costume, and these are IT. It just really sucks that thy aren't in my size...

Absolutely cute and charming. =) I love the design of these - they're so different and you can't find anything like this in a store. As a casual look, the black would look great with your ladies' penny farthing t-shirt! Of course, these would look great with most anything.
